• Age Requirement: You must be 21+ years old
• Invite-Only: You must have a valid invitation code
• One Account Per Person: No multiple accounts

2. Acceptable Use

You may: Share growing knowledge, document grow journals, participate in forums, connect with members.

You may NOT: Share illegal sales info, harass members, post spam, or violate others’ privacy.

3. Cannabis Legal Compliance

You are responsible for knowing and following your local laws. We do not encourage illegal activity or provide legal advice.

4. Privacy & Data

GFC is built on privacy. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content but grant GFC a license to display it on the Site.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, illegal activity, or at our discretion.

Our Privacy Commitment

GFC is built on a foundation of privacy and security. We understand that cannabis cultivation information is sensitive, and in many jurisdictions, legally precarious.

What this means for you:

• 🚫 We will NEVER voluntarily share your data with law enforcement or government agencies
• 🛡️ We will fight every legal request and only comply when legally compelled by valid court order
• 🔒 Automatic metadata stripping: All uploaded photos have GPS/EXIF data removed (LIVE NOW)
• 📊 Transparency: We will publish annual reports of any legal requests received
• 🚫 We will NEVER sell your data: Your information will never be sold to third parties, period
• 🔐 Coming Soon: End-to-end encryption for grow journals and private messages (November 2025)

What We Collect

We collect minimal information to provide the service: email, username, profile info, grow journals, forum posts, and basic usage data.

How We Protect Your Privacy

Automatic Metadata Stripping (LIVE NOW): All photos automatically have GPS/EXIF data stripped on upload.

If We Receive a Legal Request:

1. We will challenge every request with legal counsel
2. We will notify you if legally permitted
3. We will fight overbroad requests
4. We minimize disclosure to only what is legally required

Your Privacy Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Delete: Delete your account anytime
• Portability: Export your data
• Opt-out: Manage email preferences

Cannabis-Specific Privacy

We will NEVER voluntarily hand over your data to law enforcement.

If compelled by valid court order, we can only provide basic account info and public posts. We will fight to protect private journals and messages.

After encryption launches (November 2025): We won’t be able to decrypt your journals or messages even if legally compelled.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring your activities comply with local laws.

We recommend:

• ✅ Never include identifying details in photos (addresses, plates, faces)
• ✅ Use a pseudonym as your username
